oraz Mel Ainscow, który został przetłumaczony na ponad trzydzieści różnych języków, w tym od 2011
roku funkcjonuje również w przekładzie na język polski.

Special needs of students or school? “Index for Inclusion” as a resource to support the
development of learning and participation in school life
Summary
The article is concerned with changes that have been accomplished over the last thirty years in terms of defining
the needs of students and learning models, which resulted in the dissemination of inclusive approach
or inclusive education. Its aim is to create a school environment that would meet diverse needs of students.
A method and, at the same time, a tool that makes it possible is “Index for Inclusion” by Tony Booth and Mel
Ainscow, which has been translated into more than thirty different languages, including Polish since 2011.
