Second Virtual Disability Conference

On behalf of the University of Melbourne, Scope Australia, Ability First Australia and the conference planning committee, welcome to the second Virtual Disability Conference to be held on Tuesday 31st March, 2020. The theme for the conference is “Exploring inclusion: the Australian disability community in conversation online”

In 2020 the conference will focus on inclusion of people with disabilities in all aspects of society. The way that society views people with disabilities impacts on their experience of inclusion and the barriers they face. How can services, supports, researchers and policy makers work effectively with people with disabilities to facilitate full inclusion and optimise quality of life.

The role people with disabilities can play in changing systems will be explored.

The conference will be online so people can access the conference in their home or workplace, or conference hub. The conference starts at 11.00am and will conclude at 5pm on Tuesday 31st March, 2020.
